We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Higher Learning Teaching Assistant within our very small, independent alternative provision. The hours are be 8.00 am – 4.00 pm with one additional hour per week for meetings. This is a term-time only position, plus Inset days.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated person who should be a good communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills, a good sense of humour and a flexible approach.
The successful applicant should have at least GCSE Maths and English or equivalent. The successful applicant should have experience working with young people with additional needs and display the following attributes:
- The ability to develop positive relationships, so children feel safe and nurtured.
- The ability to demonstrate high levels of emotional wellbeing, remaining calm in the face of any challenges.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
